Important Changes to Website and Online Banking Access
Must Complete by April 1, 2018
At Industrial Bank, we are committed to ensuring the most secure digital environment and data security when you access our website or online banking solutions (Business Online Banking, Retail Banking Online and Access Manager). To prepare for the upcoming industry-wide disabling of Transport Layer Security (TLS) TLS 1.0/1.1 we will disable TLS 1.0/1.1 on April 1, 2018. Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a protocol that ensures that a connection to a remote endpoint is securely encrypted in order to provide privacy and data integrity. Going forward, we will only support TLS 1.2 and higher which is the most current version and is considered to be the most secure.
You will need to enable TLS 1.2 on your electronic device/s by April 1, 2018 to be able to access our website or your account information via our online banking solutions (Business Online Banking, Retail Online Banking and Access Manager). To avoid service interruptions when using our website or online banking solutions please follow the steps below;
How to Enable Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2
1. From your internet explorer browser, select Tools
, then Internet Options
2. Click the Advanced Tab
, and scroll down to Security section.
3. Ensure TLS 1.2 is checked, if not check TLS 1.2
and select, Apply, OK.
Note: Be sure all of the boxes above are checked. DO NOT uncheck any of the boxes.
